Pauline was born in in Somerset and grew up in the West Country, but has lived in London for over forty years. After graduating in Fine Art from Portsmouth Pauline did an MA in Print Making at Chelsea College of Art before training as an art teacher in Birmingham. Since 2010, Pauline  has had a studio in Walthamstow run by the Barbican Arts Group Trust or BAGT, an Arts based charity, which has operated in East London for over 50 years.

Pauline is primarily a printmaker but she also paints, predominately in oils and acrylics, and also works in 3D and textiles. Her work is mostly figurative and her subjects, frequently drawn from memories of the past, are at times humorous and at other times dark. She is interested in the relationship between people and animals, family dynamics, persisting folklore and the bonds and chimera that these relationships create.

Pauline is delighted to be a guest artist with Feather and Shore Gallery, see: featherandshore.co.uk
